Tips
Essential tips to help your wedding photographer effortlessly capture the best moments of your special day.
Prioritize Natural Light
There is a reason for this being first, natural light is my best friend. Opt for well-lit spaces with large windows for getting ready, as natural light creates beautiful, soft tones in your photos. Keep curtains open, and consider outdoor or window-side spots for key moments. For outdoor ceremonies, consider late afternoon for softer and less harsh lighting. For indoor settings, ensure the lighting isn’t too harsh or dim to maintain the quality of your photos
Keep Your Spaces Tidy
A clean and organized space makes a world of difference. Designate a specific area for bags, clothes, and other personal items to keep them out of the main shooting space. This allows us to focus on capturing your radiant selves, not messy backgrounds. It also saves valuable time.
Gather Wedding Details
Collect all your wedding details, such as rings, shoes, jewelry, invitations, and any personal items in one spot before the photographer arrives. This helps capture all the beautiful details that showcase the personal touches of your wedding.
Coordinate on Key Moments
Share your timeline with the photographer. Let us know key moments or surprises will occur so we can be ready in advance. Schedule ample time for getting-ready photos, portraits and couples’ session. This allows for relaxed and natural poses, rather than rushed moments.
Don’t Be Afraid to Have Fun!
Relax, enjoy each other's company, and let your natural connection shine. Whether it’s dancing, laughing, or tearing up, letting loose creates genuine, candid photos that capture the essence of your celebration. Try not to be too conscious of the camera; the best moments happen when you forget you’re being photographed and simply live in the moment.
